STATEMENT OF FAITH:
● We believe God is the creator of the universe and author of life (Genesis 1);
● We believe the Bible to be inspired, be infallible and be the supreme and final authority for all faith and life (2 Tim 3:15; 2 Peter 1:21);
● We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Gen. 1:1; Matthew 28:19);
● We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right-hand of the father, and in His personal return in power and glory (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:35; Heb. 4:15; Eph 1:7; Rev. 19:11);
● We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 8:9; Galatians 3:26-28);
● We believe the Holy Spirit indwells Christians and helps them live a godly life ( John 14:26);
● We believe the male and female social unit is God-designed and is to shape the faith of children and help them realize their God-given value (Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Ephesians 6:4).
● LTA views parents/guardians as the primary educators of their children with the responsibility for choosing and/or providing appropriate education and training for their children.
● We believe that the purpose of Christian education is to collaborate with families and churches in providing for the growth of the whole child- mind, body, and spirit.
● LTA believes each student is created by God with a unique set of gifts and talents designed specifically for them to fulfill God’s plan for their lives. It is our goal to provide a learning environment where the students can develop their gifts and talents.
● Our methodology is multi-sensory, oriented to all learning styles, and focused on Christian nurture.
● Our goal is to make learning fun, interesting, and meaningful so the student is engaged in the learning process.
● LTA will promote a life-long thirst for knowledge and diligent stewardship of their community and their environment.
