Our experience at LTA has been truly wonderful, both for our children and for us as parents. Previously, my oldest son did not see school as something positive—he viewed it more as a punishment. Now, he has become responsible with his routines, making an effort to go to bed early and get ready for school on his own. On top of that, we as parents appreciate the aftercare, when both parents work full-time, that support makes a big difference for our family.
As a family coming from another state and another country, LTA has become like a true tribe for us, providing a warm and welcoming environment for our children. What matters most to us is knowing that they are well cared for and equipped with the tools they need to grow and succeed.
We also really appreciate the safe, faith-based environment, where they learn and connect with Bible verses every week. That’s a big reason why we’ve decided to continue with LTA for summer camp and the next school year.

Our son has really enjoyed his time at LTA. He is on the spectrum and has received great support from the staff. He enjoys all of his school-related activities and classmates. He has even started eating a few new foods thanks to their healthy snack options! The staff communicates with parents well and is open to facilitating your child’s needs.

Lion’s Tribe Academy is truly a special place. My two children have very different personalities and learning styles, and I’ve always felt confident that they are supported and encouraged as individuals rather than expected to fit into a rigid mold. The teachers do an incredible job nurturing each child’s unique strengths while also teaching the importance of integrity, kindness, and respect. One of my favorite things as a parent is hearing my kids singing songs and telling stories about God and His creation that they learned at school. Our daughter has been attending The Lion’s Tribe Academy since the first year it opened. She started in Preschool, then Pre-K, and now Kindergarten. She will be returning next year, and I look forward to sending our son this fall for Preschool as well.
I’ve loved being able to witness God’s hand in everything He has done through the school and in the lives of the students. My daughter has learned so much, both academically and biblically, during her time at Lion’s Tribe.

It has been so special to show up at my child’s school and see the teachers working diligently with them, interacting & finding so many ways to make the experience special and to cater to how the kids learn and grow.

“As a mother, there is nothing more unsettling than feeling like your child is being overlooked, unsupported, or quietly pushed through a system that isn’t built to truly see them.
Before finding Lion Tribe Academy, that’s exactly where we were.
I felt it in my gut. My daughter was being left behind. Not just academically but emotionally. Her dyslexia & ADHD were treated more like a nuisance than a real health diagnosis, which only deepened her struggles & made her feel different instead of supported. There were multiple situations where her safety felt compromised, & as a parent, the most heartbreaking part was the lack of accountability. I didn’t feel heard, supported, or reassured.
I was watching my child change. The light in her started to dim. She was anxious, overwhelmed & stuck in what felt like a constant state of fight or flight. As her mom, I felt helpless. I truly believed I was losing her to a system that wasn’t made to nurture her heart.
Choosing Lion Tribe Academy was one of the most important decisions I’ve ever made.
From the moment we stepped into this community, everything felt different. This wasn’t just a school, it was a place of safety, intention & genuine care. I wanted my daughter’s nervous system to finally settle. I wanted her to feel supported, loved & protected. I wanted to feel aligned as a mother, to know that her mental health, safety & spirit were being prioritized.
And that is exactly what we found.
Lion Tribe Academy has gone above & beyond in supporting both my daughter & me. Instead of making her feel like an outcast, they have helped her feel understood, capable & confident. With a calm, supportive environment & a settled nervous system, she is now truly thriving. Her anxiety has diminished significantly & she can show up as herself again.
The faith-based foundation has been transformative. Having that consistent connection to God has brought a level of peace, healing & trust back into her life that I didn’t know was possible after everything she had experienced both in school & outside environments as well.
Slowly, but surely, I got my daughter back.
Her heart is no longer in distress. She’s not living in survival mode anymore. She’s smiling again. She feels safe. She feels seen. She feels loved. She is finally able to just be a child again.
And for me, as her mother, I feel supported too. I feel heard. I feel respected in my values. I feel like I have a team standing beside me who truly cares about my daughter, not just as a student but as a whole human being.
I can say this with complete honesty. Lion Tribe Academy didn’t just change my daughter’s school experience; it changed our lives.
I will forever be grateful for the role this school has played in healing her, protecting her & helping her become herself again.
